While our volunteer lifesavers provide an essential service, there is an opportunity to enhance safety outcomes by providing paid lifeguards to support patrols, training, and peak-period coverage.
Expanding this model to include Kingston’s beaches would help ensure a consistent and high standard of safety for all who enjoy our foreshore.
